What belongs in a window-cleaning quote?

Glass, tracks, screens, height, and access should be clear before the appointment.

Count panes and access

Window styles and pane counts affect time. Tell the provider which windows are accessible and where furniture or landscaping may obstruct access.

Include the extras explicitly

Tracks, screens, frames, and exterior glass may be separate line items. Confirm which are included.

Mention films and damage

Describe tinted film, coatings, cracked glass, seal failures, or construction residue. These can change or rule out a standard cleaning method.

Keep elevated work separate

The SRVCS pilot focuses on safely accessible windows. Roof access and high ladder work require a different provider assessment.

General planning guidance. Product instructions and a qualified provider’s assessment should guide the work at your property.
